Better Storytelling, Better Curation

“It’s not what a movie is about, it’s how it is about it” - Roger Ebert

A continual motivating factor for me, as I steel myself to continually launch something quite different, unique (and quirky) into the world with GROUP GROUP, is to set a good standard for storytelling, particularly as I emphasise technology<>culture stories for the core GrpGrp audience in APAC.

Setting a better standard of storytelling.

Placing higher levels of importance on good curation, at every opportunity.

Often, stories of people, or projects, or places that matter, in the technology<>culture world, are densely populated by simply the loudest voices, not the ones to provide the best insights, or the best technical subject matter expertise, or even, the least compromised and objective opinion.

I’m motivated to curate better storytelling, and I’m placing bets that others will want to read that, and contribute towards that too.

So, henceforth, GROUP(ED) GROUP exists, the content arm of GG, tellin’ stories, in a number of curated streams.

This landing page is home for the curated stories, and will be continually updated with new ones published, surely destined to become unruly and dense, needing a new home location to document the vast range of stories I’m looking to curate and release.

But until then, feck perfuction, here’s the storytelling, and make sure to share someone’s story you took in here sometime, with someone who needs it.
